WAUSHARA COUNTY: ACQ-Kusel Lake Land Acquisition - Petersen Property
Waushara county will acquire approximately 30.78 acres of land with 1,150 feet of shoreline to preserve and protect the shoreline and water quality of Kusel Lake. the primary goals of the property's management plan will be 1) TO MAINTAIN THE PROPERTY AS OPEN S[ACE/PARKLAND, 2) TO PRESERVE AHND RPOTECT THE PROPERTY'S SHORELINE IN ITS NATURAL STATE, 3) TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE PROPERTY'S WETLANDS, AND 4) TO ALLOW PUBLIC ACCESS FOR PASSIVE RECREATION INCLUDING HIKING AND CROSS COUNTRY SKIING.
