ARBUTUS LAKE ASSOCIATION: Arbutus Lake Management Planning
Conduct water quality monitoring of the lake. Conduct a survey of septic systems surrounding the lake to detect failing systems. Conduct a lake watershed inventory which will include a delineation of the watershed, identify sensitive areas and otherland uses, and estimate nutrient loading to the lake from land used in the watershed. Information will be disseminated to the public by newsletter, factsheet, local newspaper articles, public meetings and report mailings. Project results will be reposited at the Crandon Library.
