TOWN OF ROME: Lake Camelot Toxics Study/Monitoring
The Town of Rome proposes to investigate the presence of toxins in the water and sediments of Adams County's Tri-Lakes through studies conducted on Lake Camelot. Project activities would include: 1) sediment and water sampling, 2) sample analysis, and 3) summarization of data for inclusion in Tri-Lakes grant series final report and Comprehensive Management Plan. The Department of Natural Resources will be provided both paper and electronic copies of the report. Project results will be disseminated through newsletter mailings, fact sheet distribution, public meetings, local newspaper articles and development of a Comprehensive Management Plan.
