WABENO SANITARY DISTRICT: Trump Lake Sanitary Survey
Wabeno Sanitary District proposes to conduct a water quality study in Trump Lake. The project will include data gathering, analysis and communicating the final results. Some of the specific activities will include; 1) septic survey, 2) develop a lake parcel map, 3) review county sanitary records, 4) establish lake's watershed boundary, establish sensitive areas and fill in land use inventory, 5) collect water quality samples and soil borings for analysis, 6) compile and analyze all data with respect to watershed information, land use and water quality and come up with impacts on phosphorus loads to the lake, 7) address lake management plan and/or need for further technical feasibility study. The Department of Natural Resources will be provided with both a paper copy and an electronic copy of the final report. The project results will be disseminated to the public by summary report mailing and local newspaper articles.
