HARMONY GROVE LAKE PROT. AND REHAB. DISTRICT: Lake Wisconsin Harmony Grove Sediment Study

This project will investigate sediment in the Harmony Grove lagoons. The quantity of sediment will be determined through field measurements in the lagoons. Sediment samples will be collected and analyzed. Options for removal and disposal of the sediment will identified along with the costs associated with these options. Sediment inputs to the lagoons will also be evaluated and recommendations made to minimize future sedimentation. The information gathered in this study will be used to determine the need for future study or actions to support a lake management plan to protect the long term viability of the lagoons as a natural resource for fisheries and public recreation.
