NAMAKAGON LAKE ASSOCIATION, INC.: Eurasian Water Milfoil Watch & Education Project
The Namakagon Lake Association, Inc. will conduct an Eurasian Milfoil Inspection and Monitoring Project and an Exotics Prevention Education Program on Namakagon Lake in Bayfield County. This project involves inspections of the water area in the vicinity of eight boat landing sites for the presence of the exotic aquatic plant, Eurasian watermilfoil (EWM). These inspections will be conducted in June, August, and October of 2003. Large, eye-catching, exotics prevention signs will also be constructed at boat landing sites on the lake.
