CLEAR LAKE ASSOCIATION: Clear Lake Aquatic Plant Monitoring
The Clear Lake Association shall produce the following deliverables as listed in the final application dated January 28, 2004, plus the following, which were used to award points in the ranking process:
B1. Develops a comprehensive assessment of fish, aquatic life or wildlife habitat with management recommendations (aquatic plant management plan). This document will define existing problems with nuisance and exotic aquatic plants, establish attainable and realistic rehabilitation goals, explain plant ecology, outline all available plant management techniques and their applicability to Clear Lake, and propose a long term monitoring strategy to track plant management progress.
Complete aquatic plant survey according to methods proposed.
Complete herbarium voucher specimens pressed for each species present in Clear Lake, one copy for the Lake Association and one copy for the UW Herbarium.
