RUSK COUNTY LAND CONSERVATION DEPARTMENT: Potato Lake - Lake & Watershed Water Quality Study

Rusk County (and the Potato Lake Association, Inc.) proposes to conduct a lake and watershed water quality study and an evaluation of nutrient loadings to Potato Lake in Rusk County. Project activities would include; compiling watershed land use, soils info, historical and sociological info, acreage, and P loading estimates, disseminating project information via newsletters and association meetings, tabulating and evaluating water quality analyses results, estimating erosion from various watershed land uses, inventorying and assessing loadings from barnyards and streambanks, surveying lake aquatic plants, and compiling a final report.
