TOWN OF DELAVAN: Delavan Lake Rural Nonpoint Source Pollution Study
Review the rural land inventory and control plan compiled for the Delavan Lake portion of the Turtle Creek Priority Watershed. Assess the degree to which rural nonpoint source control practices have been implemented. Identify practices requiring repair and the changes in land use that have occurred since the Turtle Creek plan was completed. Evaluate additional practices that may be implemented. Refine the recommendation plan to control nonpoint source pollutants. Information will be disseminated to the public by public meetings and local newspaper articles. Project results will be reposited at the Town of Delavan, Walworth County, DNR, Delavan Public Library and SEWRPC offices.
