TAMBLING LAKE ASSOCIATION, INC.: Tambling Lake Large Scale, Phase III

This project will complete work focusing on fish management. The project will result in: Purchase of a meter to monitor temperature and dissolved oxygen. Training of volunteers to maintain monitoring equipment, and report data collected. Written report documenting the results of the fishery survey. Recommendations on the further management of the fishery. Original, educational presentations at lake association events tailored to reach all residents and users of Tambling Lake. No work may begin until the Department approves, in writing, the methods for the fish survey. All reports must include both raw and summarized data including any historical data found and new data collected. This project will complement past projects but will result in a new report with additional information that has not yet been reported. Future monitoring and assessment of the aeration systems on Tambling Lake will be considered routine maintenance and therefore not grant eligible unless working towards an answer to a specific new question. The Department will receive both paper and electronic copies of all reports, data and other materials produced as part of this project.
