IROGAMI LAKE MANAGEMENT DISTRICT: Irogami Lake Management Planning

Conduct in-lake water quality sampling for parameters and on schedule shown in Table 1 attached to application. The sampling location is shown in Figure 1, attached to the application. Update watershed inventory conducted in 1983. Delineate watershed boundaries; map land use and potential pollution sources. Estimate sediment and phosphorous loading to lake using computer models. Produce a map which shows significant pollution sources. Prepare a lake management plan which will include elements listed in 'C.4 Preparation of a Lake Management Plan', attached to the application. Information will be disseminated to the public by newsletter mailings, public meetings, and local newspaper articles. Project results will be reposited at the local library and town halls.
