TOWN OF NORWAY: Kee-Nong-Go-Mong Lake Watershed Stormwater Mgmt Planning
The Town of Norway proposes to conduct stormwater management planning for the Kee-Nong-Go-Mong Lake watershed. Project elements include a summary of watershed natural resource and land use data, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, pollutant load modeling, and analysis of future water quality and quantity problems, farmland and highway runoff problems, and streambank erosion, as described in the project application. Project activities will result in an evaluation of alternatives and recommendations for specific flood and drainage control measures for agricultural, residential, and commercial areas. The Sponsor will prepare a final report of the project including the results of the above activities. The results of the project will be disseminated to the public by public meeting and local newspaper article. The sponsor will provide the Department of Natural Resources with a paper copy and an electronic copy of the report.
