CITY OF JANESVILLE: Lions Pond Hydrologic Budget & Water Quality Monitoring
The City of Janesville proposes to identify and study the sources of nutrients to Lions Lake and Trout Pond. Phase 2 project activities include the following: 1) review all available pertinent data, 2) describe characteristics of the basin and watershed, 3) develop hydrolic budget estimating water inflows and outflows, 4) develop management alternatives and recommend ways to reduce phosphorus and other pollutant loads contributing to eutrophication of the ponds.
