SOLBERG LAKE ASSOCIATION: Solberg Lake Phase II, Aquatic Plant Management Plan
The Solberg Lake Association will conduct a two phase aquatic plant management project. This grant will fund phase II of the project. Phase II will include the development of a aquatic plant management plan which will include a definition of the problem, goals, explanation of plant ecology, various management techniques, and methods to evaluate progress. The document will include documentation of the phase I aquatic plant survey results including both a tabular and graphic presentation. Aquatic plant management options will be discussed and a recommendation for plant management will be presented. Specific deliverables for this grant project include: a final report including maps and tables The Department of Natural Resources will be provided with both a paper copy and an electronic copy of the final report. The project results will be disseminated to the public by newsletter(s), public meeting(s), and local newspaper articles.
