MINOCQUA/KAWAGUESAGA LAKES PROTECTION ASSN.: Minocqua Lake Hydrology & Water Quality Study
The Minocqua/Kawaguesaga Lake Protection Association is sponsoring this project. The project and the Kawaguesaga Lake study are a phased project and will be reviewed together for final approval. These two projects will look at Minocqua and Kawaguesaga Lakes to evaluate the current and historical lake water quality, review and summarize the existing water quality related reports and documents, and the results will be used to design a phase 2 comprehensive diagnostic feasibility (D/F) study. These two projects will result in water quality data collection, publishing of the water quality data in the USGS data reports, reporting the review of the historical and current water quality data, delineation of the watershed for the lakes, presentation of results to the lake association, and preparation of the study design for the water quality portion of a Phase 2 D/F study for the two lakes.
