CITY OF MARION: Marion Millpond Appraisal & Lake Plan Project
The City of Marion proposes to conduct an appraisal of their millpond and develop a lake plan for the same. This project will include a complete Aquatic Plant Survey and Plan, preliminary watershed inventory, water quality monitoring and citizen involvement. The Aquatic Plant Management Plan will include an evaluation of water quality and potential sources of nutrient inputs for potential phase II projects. Local High School will be utilized, which will provide I and E efforts to the public. See project description submitted with application materials.
