VILLAGE OF RICHFIELD: Friess Lake Management Plan Update

The Town of Richfield, working with the Freiss Lake Advancement Association, will contract with the Southeast Regional Planning Commission for an aquatic plant management plan. A plant survey (as described in the grant application) will be conducted and an aquatic plant management plan will be prepared. The project deliverable will be two paper copies and one electronic copy of the report. The report will contain the following elements: 1) results of the plant survey; 2) recreational use survey; 3) review of the current data available on the lake; 4) WILMS modeling results and 5) an aquatic plant management plan that discusses the alternatives to manage aquatic plants.
