ANVIL LAKE ASSN, INC: Anvil Lake Management Planning: AIS Control Strategy Development
Anvil Lake Association is sponsoring an AIS Education, Prevention, & Planning grant to study Anvil Lake in Vilas County. The project will focus on developing an AIS Control Strategy and Plan for EWM and CLP on Anvil Lake.
Project activities include: 1) Stakeholder participation planning meetings (up to 2), kick-off meeting, wrap-up meeting, news release(s), and newsletter article; 2) Fisheries assessment; 3) Shoreline and coarse woody habitat assessment; 4) Aquatic plant surveys (PI survey, acoustic, community mapping, substrate mapping); 5) Data analysis; 6) Updated LMP.
