TOWN OF RIVERVIEW: Winslow Lake Rapid Response
The Town of Riverview proposes to control Hybrid Watermilfoil in Winslow Lake by implementing control measures during the period 2015-2018.
The project includes conducting Point Intercept surveys using the DNR Aquatic Plant Treatment Evaluation Protocol http://www4.uwsp.edu/cnr/uwexlakes/ecology/APM/Appendix-D.pdf ,in addition to 3 peak biomass surveys and lake bathymetry mapping; controlling Hybrid Watermilfoil with aquatic herbicide treatments and hand pulling coordination; and implementing an aquatic invasive species prevention and control strategy that includes soliciting in-kind volunteer work.
