NORTH LAKELAND DISCOVERY CENTER: Manitowish Waters Chain AIS Control & Prevention Project
North Lakeland Discovery Center is sponsoring an ACEI grant project which will focus on surveying, mapping and controlling CLP and PL in the Manitowish Chain, Vilas County.
Project activities include: 1) Conduct pre/post treatment surveys; 2) Herbicide, biological and hand removal management; 3) Conduct herbicide concentration monitoring; 4) Conduct wild rice surveys and develop maps; 5) Develop treatment reports.
