COLUMBIA COUNTY: Park Lake Watershed/Fox River Monitoring
This grant is to refine knowledge of watershed nutrient contributions via the two major branches of the Fox River draining to Park Lake to help complete the concurrent management plan. (An additional grant to continue this work for one more season will be requested). WAV volunteer monitoring of streams will be set up in the watershed, along with collection of baseline data to determine nutrient loading from the sub-basins. Data will be used to write the lake management plan.
