BUTTERNUT-FRANKLIN LAKES ASSOC INC: Butternut & Franklin Lakes Aquatic Plant Surveys 2017
Butternut-Franklin Lakes Improvement Association, Inc is sponsoring a LPL grant to study Butternut and Franklin Lakes, in Forest County. The project will focus on aquatic plant surveys and AIS monitoring.
Project activities include: 1) Point-intercept (PI) aquatic plant survey; 2) Aquatic plant community mapping; 3) Early-season AIS survey; 4) Professional Dreissena and SWF monitoring; 5) Data analysis; 6) Develop project report.
Project deliverables include: 1) PI and AIS survey data; 2) Aquatic plant community and AIS maps; 3) Aquatic plant vouchers; 4) Project report.
Specific conditions for this project: Draft of project report needs Dept review and approval.
WDNR Lakes Management Coordinator will be provided with an electronic (pdf or word) copy of project report, data from PI survey, all maps from project, all GIS data, and aquatic plant vouchers.
