SPREAD EAGLE CHAIN O'LAKES ASSOCIATION: Spread Eagle Chain of Lakes EWM Educaiton & Monitoring
Spread Eagle Chain of Lakes Association is sponsoring a project which will focus on AIS surveying, monitoring, mapping, and AIS educational activities in the Spread Eagle Chain, Florence County.
Project activities include: 1) Conduct AIS monitoring and EWM mapping; 2) Conduct annual hand removal coordination; 3) Conduct volunteer AIS training and surveillance monitoring; 4) Develop summary report.
Project deliverables include: 1) AIS and EWM survey data and maps; 2) Annual report describing the findings of the monitoring surveys, hand-pulling efforts, AIS educational activities, and guidance for continued monitoring and control actions.
Specific conditions for this project: Annual report need Dept review and approval.
WDNR Lakes Management Coordinator will be provided with an electronic (pdf or word) copy of annual report, all maps, and all aquatic plant/AIS and GIS data.
