LINCOLN COUNTY: Lk. Mohawksin Treatment Monitoring, Planning & Education Project
Lincoln County Conservation Department is sponsoring an Aquatic Invasive Species Education, Prevention & Planning grant to be completed by December 31, 2007. The project will focus on AIS education, prevention, and monitoring.
Project activities include:
1) Recruit volunteers and implement a CB/CW program
2) Conduct AIS citizen lake monitoring following Dept/UW Ext guidelines
3) Entry of inspection forms 3200-120 and monitoring forms onto Dept website
4) Pre-treatment and post-treatment surveys
5) Purchase a DO meter
6) DO monitoring in treatment areas
7) Informational meeting and treatment monitoring results meeting
