TOWN OF LAKE TOMAHAWK: Lake Tomahawk Lk. Management Plan Phase III
The Town of Lake Tomahawk is sponsoring a large scale lake planning grant to study Lake Tomahawk with a study completion date of December 31, 2008. The Tomahawk Lake Property Owners Association is a project partner. This is Phase III of a lake management planning project. Phases I and II were encumbered in the August 2006 grant cycle. Phases I and II focus on developing an Aquatic Plant Management (APMP). Phase III will focus on completing an APMP and a Lake Management Plan (LMP). Completion of an APMP and a LMP will allow for potential Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) cost sharing grants and permits for Eurasian water-milfoil (EWM) control.
