LONG LAKE IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION: Long Lake Eurasian Water Milfoil Control Project
Long Lake Improvement Association is sponsoring an Aquatic Invasive Species Rapid Response grant to be completed by December 31, 2007. The project will focus on chemically treating 0.25 acres of EWM in Long Lake.
Project activities include:
1) Evaluation of last fall's EWM chemical treatment
2) Identify areas with EWM and hand pull or chemically treat any EWM found
3) Post-treatment survey mid-to-late summer followed by spot treatments or hand pulling of any EWM identified
