LONG LAKE PROTECTION AND MANAGEMENT DISTRICT: Long Lake Aquatic Plant Survey Management Plan

The Long Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District, Polk County, will conduct an aquatic plant survey and develop an Aquatic Plant Management Plan that will be integrated into the Long Lake Management Plan. The plant survey and aquatic plant management plan must follow the Aquatic Plant Management in Wisconsin Guidance, including following the point-intercept survey methodology and stations (provided by WDNR Integrated Science Services) and collecting two sets of voucher specimens. Aquatic Plant Management Plans must meet the requirements of NR 198.43, including integrating public participation, to be Aquatic Invasive Species Established Infestation Control Grant-eligible.
