RIVEREDGE NATURE CENTER, INC.: Community Rivers Program
The Community Rivers Program, through Riveredge Nature Center looks to provide inspirational, educational, and engagement programs to village residents of Saukville, Newburg, and Grafton in order to improve habitat and water quality in the Upper Milwaukee River Watershed.
Project final deliverables include: printed and digital copy of a project summary report. Report shall include a summary of all activities conducted under this grant, as well as a description of and examples of all marketing, communications and outreach efforts.
Specific project activities include: 1) three kayak/canoe trips; three Family Fishing Fun events; one tubing trip; two Community Partner Programs (as defined in application); and a minimum of one Community Event (as defined in application). 2) conduct seven educational programs (as defined in application). 3) conduct eight environmental engagement programs (as defined in application). 4) conduct marketing, communications, and outreach in support of the previously defined efforts.
This scope summarizes the project detail provided in the application and does not negate tasks/deliverables described therein. Records, reports, and digital images must be submitted to the Department in a format specified by the regional River Coordinator.
If a consultant is to provide final report, it is recommended that Grantee provide DNR Rivers Coordinator with a draft for comment on report adequacy prior to making final payment to the consultant. DNR to receive both paper and electronic .pdf copies of the final report along with, or prior to submission of grantee's final payment request.
