LEGEND LAKE P & R DISTRICT: Legend Lake EWM Treatment Plan
The Legend Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District proposes to control Eurasian water-milfoil (EWM) through chemical treatment and preventative measures in Wah-Toh-Sah, Skice, Sapokesik, Pywaosit lakes during the period 2007 - 2009. The project elements and deliverables are specified in the Legend Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District's Aquatic invasive Species Control Grant Application, dated August 01, 2007. The project includes treating Eurasian water Milfoil; hand-pulling and hand-raking of Eurasian Water Milfoil; annual pre- and post-treatment monitoring and education; continue to use volunteers to conduct the "clean boats clean waters" program. Watercraft inspection records will be entered into the State's online Watercraft Inspection Database.
