VILLAGE OF CHENEQUA: Village of Chenqua IV Lake Mgnt Plan Final Report

The Village of Chenequa is proceeding with the fourth and final phase of their project which is Lake Management Plan final report. The waterways included in this report are Cornell and Pine Lake and include portions of Beaver and North Lake which lakes form a tributary lake system to the Oconomowoc River chain of lakes and piped tributaries into Pine to North via Cornell Lake. This project objective is to formulate appropriate updated management actions, public information, educational strategies, ordinances and other responses to identified concerns. Products to be produced include a Volume 2 report containing 1) a lake management plan for all 4 lakes; 2) an aquatic plant management plan for all four lakes and 3) minutes from the 2 public information meetings.

A full description of the project scope and deliverables is in the grant application, which is part of this agreement. The DNR will be provided with two paper copies and an electronic copy of the final report. Information will be disseminated to the public as described in the grant application.
