TOWN OF PLUM LAKE: Little Star EWM Monitoring & Control 2020-2022
The Town of Plum Lake is sponsoring an AIRR grant to be completed by June 30, 2023. The project will focus on hand harvesting a small number of isolated EWM plants in Little Star Lake.Project activities include:1)Complete Pre/Post treatment survey 2)Hand Harvest isolated EWM plants3)Complete annual AIS Monitoring and Control Strategy Assessment ReportProject deliverables include:1)Final report describing the findings of the pre and post treatment surveys2)Point intercept survey for 20223)GPS locations of EWM with updated EWM mapsSpecific conditions for this project:-Annual/final reports needs Dept review and approval-All EWM surveys must follow WDNR Pre and Post treatment monitoring protocolsWDNR Lakes Management Coordinator will be provided with an electronic (pdf or word) of final report, Aquatic plant survey data, GPS data and maps.
