FRIENDS OF DEVIL'S LAKE: Devil's Lake Plant Survey & APM Plan
The Friends of Devil's Lake State Park will sponsor a project to quantify Eurasian Water Milfoil (EWM) colonies in Devil's Lake, Sauk County. Selective, manual eradication efforts by divers will severely suppress the population, if not completely eliminate EWM from the lake if possible. A secondary goal will be the preparation of an aquatic plant management (APM) plan designed to protect the native plant community and develop a long-term strategy for preventing re-expansion of EWM in the lake.
