WINDFALL LAKE ASSOCIATION, INC: Windfall Lake Mechanical Harvesting Plan Update
Windfall Lake Association is sponsoring a project to update their Aquatic Plant Management Plan (APMP) with the following goals/activities: 1) Conduct aquatic plant point-intercept (PI) survey (following DNR protocol) and aquatic plant community mapping; 2) Develop an updated aquatic plant harvesting plan.
Project deliverables include: 1) Data from aquatic plant surveys; 2) One management planning meeting; 3) Updated harvesting plan.
Specific project conditions: 1) Harvesting plan needs DNR review and approval; 3) WDNR Lake Biologist will be provided with an electronic copy of reports and/or management plans; data from aquatic plant surveys; all maps and GIS data from project.
If consultant is to provide final report, it is recommended that Grantee provide DNR Lake Coordinator with a draft for comment on report adequacy prior to making final payment to the consultant. DNR to receive both paper and electronic .pdf copies of the final report along with, or prior to submission of grantee's final payment request.
