BIG PORTAGE LAKE RIPARIAN OWNERS ASSOCIATION: Big Portage Lake Boat Landing Automated Monitoring
Big Portage Lake Riparian Owners Association is sponsoring a project to install and ILIDS camera at the Big Portage boat landing (public pier) in Vilas County with the following goals: Prevent the introduction of aquatic invasive species into the lake, educate boaters on best practices.
Project deliverables include:
1. Purchase and installation of ILIDS camera.
2. Written reports of activities gathered by ILIDS camera.
Specific project conditions: A minimum of 200 hours of Clean Boats, Clean Waters watercraft inspections must be implemented each year for the duration of the grant agreement period. DNR to receive electronic copies of the final report along with, or prior to submission of grantee's final payment request.
