FRIENDS OF LAKE WINGRA: SWE - Green Infrastructure Community Engagement
Friends of Lake Wingra is sponsoring a project to improve City of Madison\2019s understanding and improve participation in a Green Infrastructure project near Lake Wingra, Dane County.
Specific project activities include: 1) develop and coordinate workshops, 2) identify new residents that have installed green infrastructure, and followup with workshop participants to offer signage, 3) collect information via workshops, mail, email and a DNR-approved survey, 4) evaluate information to determine what messages are most effective, and what barriers to exist to private installation of green infrastructure.
Project final deliverables include: a final report that summarizes project activities and results, including workshop content, a copy of the final survey instrument that was used, survey results, and a customizable work plan that can be adopted for similar neighborhoods.
Special Conditions: none
This scope summarizes the project detail provided in the application and does not negate tasks/deliverables described therein. Data, records, and reports, including GIS-based maps, and digital images, must be submitted to the Department in a format specified by the regional Lake Biologist.
