HALF MOON LAKE P & R DISTRICT: Half Moon Lake Water Quality Study

Half Moon Lake P & R District is sponsoring a project to update its lake management plan that was completed in the early 1990s and did not include water quality goals or an implementation plan.

Project activities include: in-lake and tributary water quality data collection; tributary, internal, and watershed loading assessment; lake phosphorous response modeling, water quality goal development; shoreline habitat assessment; and integration of public participation and strategic planning to develop specific management recommendations and responsibilies.
