TOWN OF WOODBORO: Eurasian Watermilfoil Control on Oneida Lake
The Town of Woodboro in partnership with the Oneida Lake Association, is sponsoring an Aquatic Invasive Species grant for the control of newly discovered Euarisan Water-Milfoil (EWM) in Oneida Lake. Scuba divers will be hired to remove EWM; local residents will monitor for populations of EWM; boat landings will be monitored during fishing tournaments to be sure vehicles being launched are free of aquatic plants.
