HARRIS POND LAKE ASSOCIATION: Harris Pond Lake Management Plan Project Ph 1

Harris Pond Lake Assn proposes to conduct Phase I of a lake management plan project that begins by increasing and/or enhancing the knowledge of the participants & stakeholders understanding of natural ecosystems; and incorporating a watershed & lake water quality assessment through use of Montello River Watershed data collected by UW- Stevens Point. Additional Phase I activities include lake water level assessments which will be completed through volunteer efforts, prioritization of potential restoration areas following a shoreline evaluation, a sediment depth survey designed to identify areas of the lake most impacted by sedimentation, & a review of historical fisheries data from Harris Pond.
