CLAM LAKE P & R DISTRICT: Phase 4, APM Plan, Education & Wild Rice Survey
Clam Lakes P & R District is sponsoring a four-phase project to complete a comprehensive lake management plan with an aquatic plant emphasis for Upper and Lower Clam Lakes.
The specific Phase 4 (LPL-1318-10) project tasks, occurring on both lakes, include: 1) Wild rice mapping, in partnership with the St. Croix Tribe; 2) Completion of a 5-year lake management plan with an emphasis on aquatic plants; 3) Education plan outreach and implementation, including watercraft inspection, AIS monitoring, and other lake stewardship activities; 4) planning meetings, GIS support, and administration related to above tasks.
