LITTLE ARBOR VITAE LAKE P & R DISTRICT: Little Arbor Vitae Management Planning Project, Phase 1

Little Arbor Vitae Lake P&R District is sponsoring phased project to study Little Arbor Vitae Lake, in Vilas County. The project will focus on developing a Lake Management Plan (LMP) for Little Arbor Vitae Lake. Phase 3 of the LMP will be applied for in August of 2010.

Phase 1 project activities include: 1) Stakeholder participation stakeholder survey, planning meetings (up to 2), wrap-up meeting, news release(s), and newsletter article; 2) Shoreline assessment; 3) Water quality sampling analysis; 4) Watershed assessment and P load modeling; 5) CB/CW and professional Dreissena monitoring.
