North Lakeland Discovery Center is sponsoring a project for Manitowish Waters Chain of Lakes \2013 EWM Control
Project final deliverables include: 1) Annual report summarizing work both monitoring and control 2) Final report summarizing all monitoring, and control efforts.
Specific project activities include: 1) Completion of 2 \2013 AIS surveys in 2024 2) Professional hand-harvesting on known EWM populations. 3) DASH work on known EWM
Special Conditions: 1) All data shall be entered into SWIMS database 2) Data, records, and reports, including GIS-based maps, and digital images, must be submitted to the Department in a format specified by regional AIS biologist.
