LEGEND LAKE P & R DISTRICT: COMP - Legend Lake 2025 Comprehensive Management Plan - Biological Studies Phase (2 of 3)

The Legend Lake Proection and Rehabilitation District is sponsoring a project to update the comprehensive, AIS Control, and mechanical harvesting plans for Legend Lake.

Activities: 1. Gather and analyze historical and current ecological data for comparisons, to identify threats, determine the goals and values of stakeholders, and present realistic management actions.

2. Include goals and actions aimed at restoring ecological lake functions, protecting high value lake attributes, and increasing the district's capacity to implement the plan.

Deliverables: 1. Collect water Quality samples 2. Perform watershed modeling 3. Compile fishery data 4. Analyze and relay the results to the stakeholders.

Conditions: Water quality analysis results would be delivered in presentations and within the management plan\2019s report sections, following WISCALM protocols.

This scope summarizes details provided in the application and does not negate tasks and/or deliverables described therein. Data, reports, surveys, and supporting information, including photos, maps and GIS data, must be submitted to the DNR Biologist in electronic format and in any other format they specify.

If a consultant provides a final report, it is recommended that the Grantee provide the DNR Biologist with a draft for comment on report adequacy prior to making a final payment to the consultant. Include electronic copy of the final report along with or prior to submission of grantee's final payment request.
