VILAS COUNTY: CLG - Vilas County Strategic Lake Protection Implementation Program
The Vilas County Land and Water Dept is sponsoring a project to accomplish workplan activities from the Land and Water plan that focus on improving and protecting water quality in the highest quality waters of Vilas County.
Activities: 1) Conduct AIS, shoreland, coarse wood, PI and water quality sampling 2) Conduct shoreland habitat protection campaign 3) Conduct contractor training workshop 4) Design and install shoreline BMP\2019s 5) Recruit and train WAV volunteers 6) Finalize road and stream crossing project
Deliverables: 1) Monitoring data and entry into SWIMS 2) Completed trainings/workshops 3) Final report.
Conditions:
1) Final report needs Dept review and approval
