TOWN OF ROME: RES - Walden Park Upland Restoration
The Town of Rome is sponsoring a project to restore and protect the upland hillside adjacent Lake Camelot in Walden Park. This restoration will complement a recent addition of a kayak launch pier which promotes "quiet water" use in this section of the lake..
Activities:
1) Restore hillside to lake
2) Assist 9-key Element Plan towards water quality goals
3) Restore habitat
4) Provide Education
Deliverables: 1) Complete restoration as planned and on schedule
2) Provide proper signage approved by the Department.
3) Maintain project area
Conditions: 1) All necessary permits are the responsibility of the Town of Rome
2) All planting must be native genotypes
