TUG LAKE DISTRICT: Tug Lake DO/Temp and Algal Pigments Continuous Monitoring and Reporting
The Tug Lake District will conduct continuous monitoring of dissolved oxygen, temperature, and algal pigments to assess frequency of summer lake mixing and frequency of potential summer HAB blooms caused by internal nutrient loading.
Activities:
1) Monitor lake water quality by installing an in situ buoy;
2) Collect weekly to bi-monthly water samples from summer through fall.
Deliverables:
1) Data from water quality monitoring;
2) Annual and final project reports.
Conditions:
1) WDNR Lake Biologist will be provided with an electronic copy of reports and data from monitoring.
2) The data for temperature profiles, dissolved oxygen, and Secchi depths should be entered into the SWIMS database under this grant project or submitted to DNR in a specified format.
This scope summarizes details provided in the application and does not negate tasks and/or deliverables described therein. Data, reports, surveys, and supporting information, including photos, maps and GIS data, must be submitted to the DNR Biologist in electronic format and in any other format they specify.
If a consultant provides a final report, it is recommended that the Grantee provide the DNR Biologist with a draft for comment on report adequacy prior to making a final payment to the consultant. Include electronic copy of the final report along with or prior to submission of grantee's final payment request.
