ARCHIBALD LAKE ASSOCIATION: Archibald Lake Flowering Rush Project
The Archibald Lake Association proposes to control Flowering Rush through chemical treatment in the waters of Archibald Lake, during the period 2011 - 2014. The project includes: conducting pre- and post-treatment surveys to monitor the presence of Flowering Rush; treating Flowering Rush infested areas in waters of Archibald Lake with aquatic herbicide(s); conducting watercraft inspections; participating in the Citizen Lakes Monitoring Network; and mailing educational information to Association members.
