LAKE JULIA ASSOC, INC: Lake Julia Management Planning Project, Phase 1
Lake Julia Association, Inc. is sponsoring phased large scale lake planning grants to study Julia Lake, in Oneida County. The project will focus on developing a Lake Management Plan (LMP) for Julia Lake. Phases 1 and 2 were funded in this grant cycle (Aug 2010) and Phase 3 will be submitted for funding consideration in February 2011.
Phase 1 project activities include: 1) Stakeholder participation stakeholder survey, planning meetings (up to 2), news release(s), and newsletter article; 2) Shoreline assessment; 3) Watershed assessment and P load modeling; 4) Professional Dreissena monitoring.
