PELICAN LAKE PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOC INC: Pelican Lake Management Planning Project, Phase 2

Pelican Lake Property Owners Association, Inc. is sponsoring phased large scale lake planning grants to study Pelican Lake, in Oneida County. The project will focus on developing a Lake Management Plan (LMP) for Pelican Lake. Phases 1 and 2 were funded in this grant cycle (Aug 2010) and Phase 3 will be submitted for funding consideration in February 2011.

Phase 2 project activities include: 1) Stakeholder participation planning committee meeting; 2) Shoreline Assessment; 3) Point-intercept (PI) aquatic plant survey, community mapping and analysis; 4) Curly-leaf pondweed survey.
