DEER LAKE CONSERVANCY INC: LMI-Nearing the Goal: Deer Lake Watershed Phosphorus Reduction
Deer Lake Conservancy is sponsoring a project to design/build an iron/sand filter pond with pretreatment in a agriculture-dominated subwatershed (Watershed 1); continue the 2007 Direct Drainage best practices project to slow runoff and restore habitat; develop a land protection/conservation plan; promote community information and education. Watershed 1 pre-construction water quality data will be compared to post-construction data.
