NORTH LAKE MANAGEMENT DISTRICT: Aquatic Plant Harvester Op Plan

The North Lake Management District will hire a contractor to write an APM plan for harvesting and chemical treatment activities in North Lake. The final report will contain the following elements: 1) A discussion of management alternatives; 2) maps denoting areas to be harvested and chemically treated, including an overall map and zoomed in area specific maps; 3) a table referencing the maps, denoting width, length and depth of navigational cutting lanes; 4) a list of instructions for the harvesting crew; 5) a table and text referencing the maps that describe the timing, dosage and likely range of chemical treatment; 6) maps identifying the offloading sites and disposal sites with additional maps denoting wetlands and floodplains on the sites.

Two paper copies and one electronic copy of the final plan will be provided to the department. Exact details for all deliverables are described in the project description of grant application.
